Ken Massaroni serves as Executive Vice President for Seagate. In his previous role as Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Chief Administrative Officer he was responsible for all of Seagate’s corporate legal activities, including intellectual property, patents, trademarks and copyrights, litigation, risk management, contracts, employment law, corporate governance and ethics. In addition, he oversaw Seagate’s facilities and security departments. Prior to joining Seagate in 2006, Massaroni was vice president of law, deputy general counsel and assistant secretary at Scientific Atlanta from 1997 to 2006. In addition, Massaroni has also held senior patent counsel positions at Motorola from 1993 to 1997, served as general counsel and secretary at Optical Imaging Systems from 1990 to 1992 and as a patent attorney at Energy Conversion Devices from 1987 to 1990. In addition, he served as an associate at the law firm of Collier, Shannon, Rill and Scott. Massaroni received a bachelor’s degree from Butler University in Indiana and a doctor of jurisprudence from Indiana University.
